GABBY IS A FREE GAB
I am so thankful that all the posts I held off posting while trying to keep the peace are now posted! Hooray!
This weekend was my annual friend trip to my family’s cabin in Munds Park and it’s been a wonderfully relaxing weekend with my bestest friends in the world! I feel filled up in my soul.
So, I decided I would share some of my thoughts for your Sunday morning entertainment….
First off, I just had to bring to life is the gossip column logo my mom and I joked about:
I completed Astrobot (SHOCKER) in something around 31 hours. I found all 300 missing robot friends and experienced what I felt (no spoiler) was a shockingly emotional ending. I want to play through it again asap.
How do I choose the best Halloween costume? I really want to do a family costume, but I know Oak is interested in firefighters and Spiderman more than my Over the Garden Wall idea. (Is thinking two Halloween costumes are doable when we have no income delusional? Or am I just confident in my Dollar Store DIY game?)
I am missing Oakley and his happy sleepy-time milk-chugging, his laugh when someone farts, and him chasing Kida around the living room. See you soon, my baby! 🥰
Technically, Dobby will be free in a week, but it feels close enough to celebrate prematurely.
I want to write about so many things and I realize they won’t all be comfortable or ideal for everyone to hear about, but I don’t think that will stop me. I can no longer allow authenticity (one of my core values) to be pushed to the side by the perceived needs of others. Shame has taken hold of too many areas in my life. It’s time to use this blog to DEFEAT shame, not to allow old patterns of shame to continue. So, expect upcoming posts on shame about periods, sex, and my current religious deconstruction.
This week, my full writing capabilities were used to write more of my story on Once Upon A Gab. Jump in on that party now by clicking below:

Tiny Penis Jokes. I read an article I’ll link back here if I can find it. And I realize it’s not very body positive of me to partake.
Eating too much chicken parmesan (TJ’s cooking’s just TOO GOOD!)
Walking around (unless it’s outside in Flagstaff or Disney hehe)

Time for some TLCCC💕
Treating myself to: 3 new stickers at Yogaert! I got “Jolly AF”, “Nervous Rex” Rainbow Dino, and a sparkly Etch-A-Sketch displaying “Shake It Off.” I am very satisfied with my purchase! (And as mini stickers, they were only $1 each!)
Listening to: My friends making funny jokes (that I would listen to as a podcast any day) and playing Betrayal at the House on the Hill.
Crafting: I am so sad that I didn’t buy the cutest space-themed coloring book at Planet Science in downtown Flagstaff, that everyone in the family would enjoy (I love coloring, Zach loves space, and Oakley likes crayons!!) but I think I’ll see it again someday.
Craving: Sprouts Graham Crackers, Feastables, and Oatmilk Whipped Cream! (Fun S’mores Substitute, right?)
Caring SO much about: Spending time with my true community: my closest and dearest friends here at the cabin.
I love you, Gab! Thank you for the memories. 🫶✨💕
